SINGAPORE: The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) and its Malaysian counterpart the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) co-operated in an operation to arrest a drugs supplier believed to be involved in the supply of “sizeable quantities” of heroin to Singapore, the CNB said in a statement on Sunday (Dec 4)
“The successful operation to arrest the 30-year old Malaysian male was a result of the close co-operation between NCID and the CNB, to share intelligence and to collaborate and co-ordinate operations to smash trans-border drug syndicates,” said the CNB.
