Ah Seng Durian may be one of Singapore’s most established durian shops, but even this famous brand is not safe from delivery mishaps – and alleged dishonest swaps. The folks behind the popular durian joint, which has two outlets at Alexandra Road and Ghim Moh, took to Facebook to complain about an incident at their Ghim Moh outlet last Thursday (25 July).
Their four-part FB story rant begins with: “Sighs. Why? Something happened earlier this evening. And you know we usually don’t post if it isn’t a big issue isn’t it?”
It all started with a delivery error of a pricey crate of Mao Shan Wang durians to an unnamed rival neighbouring stall instead of Ah Seng.
