SINGAPORE – The world’s most famous beagle will take over Mandai Wildlife Reserve this festive season.
From Nov 2, visitors can catch Snoopy and his friends at Mandai, while learning about wildlife, participating in exciting activities and redeeming exclusive badges.
The Snoopy Beagle Scouts at the Festive Wild-erland event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Snoopy Beagle Scouts, which made their debut in the Peanuts comic strip on June 9, 1974.
Aside from Snoopy, the Beagle Scouts also include his best friend Woodstock and eight bird friends – Olivier, Conrad, Bill, Fred, Harriet, Raymond, Roy and Wilson. The characters were created by American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz.
Adventure trails and photo spots
Visitors who are up for an adventure can follow physical and digital trails at Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise to challenge their observation and memory skills.
They can earn keepsake badges by completing the trails and checking out all four checkpoints on the physical trails in both parks and the 10 digital mission stops.
For instance, visitors can stop by the orang utan habitat at Singapore Zoo to spot items provided by the animal care team that help keep the primates comfortable and active.
