Clip Of Huang Biren’s Husband Hosting Crimewatch In 1998 When He Was In The SPF Has Netizens Asking “Who’s That Daddy”

While Singaporeans are familiar with Huang Biren, many do not know that her husband, Adrian Quek, was also on television back in 1998?

A 12-second clip posted to TikTok by @aloytc revealed a fresh-faced Adrian, then an Assistant Superintendent (ASP) in the Singapore Police Force (SPF) hosting Crimewatch.

At that time, Adrian and Biren had already been married for two years.

As Adrian droned on about the downsides of crime, a friend of this writer dreamily asked for the video to be replayed again to catch what he said.

Of course, netizens sang a similar tune, some of whom were probably not born yet, gushed over his good looks, how handsome he looked.

“Who is that daddy!?” one exclaimed, to which another replied, “He is a real daddy, you know!”

Others chimed in that he is Biren’s husband, to which one replied, “She has very good taste”.

Adrian, 47, shares three kids with Biren, Justin, 25, Vanessa, 18, and, Janelle, 17.

Beyond his Crimewatch days, Adrian also held multiple roles in the Singapore Police Force (SPF) including a stint as Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

After serving with the SPF for 27 years, he left in September 2020 and went on to join the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) as Deputy Chief (Operations) of Assurance, Care and Engagement (ACE) Group.

A quick check on MOM’s website revealed that Adrian is now a Divisional Director of the Foreign Manpower Management Division.
