“They Don’t Have Any Money”: US Host Mocks M’sians After Chinese President’s Southeast Asia Tour

For years, American political commentator and host Bill O’Reilly has never been one to shy away from making radical and divisive statements.

The 75-year-old is making headlines again, this time taking aim at more than half of Asia during an episode of his No Spin News podcast.

In a video posted to his Instagram, Bill is seen sniggering while reporting on Chinese President Xi Jinping’s three-day visit to Vietnam, Malaysia, and Cambodia.

President Xi was in Malaysia on Tuesday (Apr 15).

“Hey President Xi, let me just break it to you. Those folks have no money at all. They cannot help you. They’re not going to buy your stuff,” ranted Bill.

He then later singled out Malaysia saying, “The Malays aren’t going to buy your stuff. They don’t have any money.

Umm… Is anyone going to tell him that China accounted for 61 per cent of Malaysia’s international e-commerce?

If that is not money, we don’t know what is.

Bill’s video comes amid heightened trade tensions between the US and China due to President Donald Trump’s mounting tariffs on China which currently stands at 245%.

The video has since racked up more than 29K views.

Of course, netizens who are presumably from Malaysia didn’t hold back and criticised Bill in the comments.

“Joke is on you, Bill. We may not have as much money as you… But we are not idiots,” read a comment.

Another also asked, “Are you delulu?”
