TikTok CEO Chew Shou Zi Makes His Suits At This Tailor In Ngee Ann City

Last year’s now-viral United States Senate hearing propelled TikTok CEO Chew Shou Zi into the global spotlight.

Who can forget or make a Singaporean beam wider than the countless “I’m Singaporean” memes on the Internet.

But did you know the 42-year-old may have been repping Singapore not just with his words, but with his outfit too?

In a Xiaohongshu post, Singapore-based business Tailored Fashions revealed that they were behind Shou Zi’s suit when he was first grilled by the US Congress in March 2023.

According to founder Alan Lee, Shou Zi had been his client for years but never knew what he did for a living until he saw the news.

In the post, Alan wrote that the feeling was surreal and even had him questioning, “Is that the suit I tailored?”

In the comments, Tailored Fashions also clarified that the pictures were posted with Shou Zi’s consent.

A quick check online showed that the atelier is located on the fifth level of Ngee Ann City and is said to be popular with jet-setting businessmen.

Well, nothing shouts “I’m Singaporean” or ka ki lang more than supporting local businesses, right?
