SINGAPORE: For the first time in a decade, a lunchtime rally is returning to the heart of the city as part of election campaigning.
Candidates from the ruling People’s Action Party (PAP) will take the stage at Raffles Place in the coming hour on Monday (Apr 28).
The headline act will almost certainly be Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, as was the case for his predecessors at past rallies.
With Polling Day just a few days away on May 3, parties are also ramping up their ground efforts.
