Singtel users report service disruptions

SINGAPORE: Singtel users reported service disruptions on Monday (Mar 23), with over 9,000 reports linked to the telco logged on Downtector as of 3.45pm.

Half of these reports involved broadband internet, according to Downdetector, which collates status reports from several sources.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Singtel said that it was aware that some of its customers were experiencing “some connectivity issues”.

“Our engineers are investigating and we’ll provide updates shortly,” the telco said.

On Mar 20, Singtel said that some customers may continue to experience intermittent issues over the next few days as system and network adjustments are being carried out to optimise performance.

Singtel customers had encountered connectivity issues on three consecutive days last week, the first of which resulted in a nine-hour disruption on Mar 16.
