SINGAPORE, April 29 — Singapore’s Energy Market Authority has called for proposals to build hydrogen-ready combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) generating units to be operational in 2031 and 2032, the agency said in a press release on Wednesday.
Under the proposal request, the private sector will build, own, and operate the CCGT units, with one to be ready by 2031 and up to two others by 2032.
Each unit is expected to provide at least 600 megawatts of generation capacity, it said. — Reuters
