KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 — TNG eWallet app will now feature a mental health telemedicine platform called Mindcare by Ziloy, making mental health resources more accessible for millions of Malaysians.
TNG eWallet users can take a free mental wellbeing self-assessments on the platform in just two minutes, starting today.
This was made possible through a partnership between health technology company QuantumNexis Sdn Bhd, which manages Ziloy, and TNG Digital Sdn Bhd that operates TNG eWallet.
Quantum Nexis chairman Suresh Venkatachari said the new digital service serves as an accessible starting point towards better mental wellbeing through innovative, user-centric digital experiences.
“Technology should remove barriers, not create them.
“Our partnership with TNG Digital allows us to bring that vision to millions of Malaysians through a platform like TNG eWallet, one they already know and trust,” Suresh said at the official launch of their collaboration, here, today.
The launch also marked the introduction ot #TakeYourFirstStep, a nationwide initiative that encourages Malaysians to prioritise their mental wellbeing through greater awareness, education and early engagement.

So, how does Ziloy work?
Users can take its free mental wellbeing self-assessments that can be completed between two to four minutes.
The assessment, comprising multiple-choice questions, without creating an account and can retake the test every 15 days once.
It helps users identify and track the severity of mental health issues that they are grappling with.
Ziloy also allows caregivers to take the test on behalf of their children, adolescents and geriatric patients to better understand their mental wellbeing.
Why should you get a Ziloy account?
Ziloy’s free mental wellbeing assessment is only the starting point for users to seek the help and support they require.
The platform connects users directly to qualified psychologists to evaluate their conditions and recommend a suitable treatment plan.
For that, users must sign up for a Ziloy account and fill out the Health Information forms before moving to an online evaluation appointment with a certified expert. All patient health informations are stored on secure cloud servers within Malaysia.
The evaluation calls usually last about 90 minutes, while the psychiatric and psychotherapy calls take about 30 minutes and an hour respectively.
Clients are generally advised to keep their video camera on during the calls for the clinicians to make more accurate evaluations.
After consultations, clients can download an e-prescription from their care team and purchase the medications from a pharmacy.
It is worth noting that Ziloy only provides consultations and does not sell or deliver medicines. It also does not handle acute neurotic emergencies.
