Malaysia’s top-ranked Women’s singles shuttler believes she is ready to get back to international circuit after a two-month-long injury lay-off. Notably, the 17-year-old shuttler suffered a shock second-round exit at the season-opening Malaysia Masters in January after losing to unseeded Taiwanese shuttler Lee Hsin Chia in straight games – 12-21, 10-21.
Goh though revealed that she had twisted her ankle during her first-round match and that she was not in her best condition at the tournament. However, she got a lot of flak from Badminton Association of Malaysia technical director Morten Frost, who had said that the teenager was “untruthful” about her injuries.
