Crocodile spotted on road in Lim Chu Kang

SINGAPORE – A crocodile was spotted on a road in Lim Chu Kang on March 18.

A Facebook user who wanted to be known only as Mr Koo shared two photos of the reptile in a post on the Singapore Wildlife Sightings group at about 6.40pm.

“Someone’s pet lizard sunbathing on the road,” he quipped in his post.

Speaking to ST, Mr Koo said he was driving in the area at about 1pm when he spotted the crocodile on the road at Neo Tiew Crescent near Long Kuan Hung Crocodile Farm.

“I thought it came from Sungei Buloh,” he said, adding that he was busy at the time, so he just snapped a photo of the crocodile and continued his journey.

ST has contacted NParks and the crocodile farm for more information.
