The rumour mill has been in overdrive ever since Singapore pop star JJ Lin, 44, went Instagram official with 24-year-old Chinese influencer Qiqi, aka Annalisa, last week.
This is the first time the singer has gone public with a relationship in his 22 years in showbiz and it didn’t take long for netizens to turn their attention to Annalisa’s family background.
Some even urged JJ to “do a thorough check on her background”, prompting the singer to step forward and publicly defend his relationship.
Well, it looks like the chatter hasn’t died down.
Well-known Chinese paparazzo “Gua Tian Han Jie” revealed Annalisa was spotted filing a report at a police station in Beijing’s Haidian District on Jan 5.
Accompanied by her assistant, Annalisa kept a low profile and was fully covered up, though her signature bangs still gave her away.
After filing the report, the pair were seen linking arms and heading to a nearby shopping mall, sparking even more speculation online about the reason behind her visit.
Since dating rumours first surfaced in early 2025, Annalisa has faced a slew of unverified allegations online, including claims that she is a “fake rich second generation”.
There have also been rumours suggesting her father may be involved in an economic case and is currently stranded overseas.
Other claims alleged she resold scalped tickets for JJ’s concert in 2023, supposedly profiting from personal connections, while some netizens even speculated she was involved in the design of merchandise and fashion accessories for JJ’s tour. None of these claims have been verified.
