SINGAPORE: Malaysia and Singapore look set to sign an agreement on the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) as soon as early December, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak indicated on Wednesday (Nov 16).
An international tender could be called at the end of next year as well. “There are several milestones in the implementation of this project but the most significant would be the international bidding process, which according to our plan, will be issued in the fourth quarter of 2017,” the New Straits Times reported Mr Najib as saying.
