Malaysian star Bella Astillah, 30, has gone public with some really damning allegations about her husband of eight years, Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz, 33.
Last month, Aliff was allegedly seen with Malaysian actress Ruhainies in her condominium. The pair were later arrested by the country’s religious police for committing khalwat, in which a man and woman who are unrelated are caught alone in close proximity.
Bella filed for a divorce from Aliff following the scandal.
Aliff, however, stated in court yesterday (April 4) that he “does not agree with the divorce” and requires more time to make a decision as he “still loves Bella”.
Bella, on the other hand, held a press conference to tell her side of the story, claiming that she has enough evidence to prove Aliff’s infidelity.
“People only know Aliff had cheated on me four or five times, but in actuality, it was 11 times. I have proof, and Aliff also knows it,” she said.
“As many know, I have three sisters. Aliff once had an affair with my younger sister, Eriqa. It was really painful. The worst thing about it is that I now regret disowning my sister instead of Aliff,” revealed Bella tearfully.
She also said that Aliff was often not at home and that she would have to settle their issues alone, including dealing with the recent news of his affair with Ruhainies.
According to Bella, Aliff had visited Ruhainies at her Pavilion Suites abode over eight times. She told Malaysian news site OhBulan! she has records from Aliff’s car GPS as proof.
Bella then explained that although she bought the car as a gift to her husband, she never had the intention of installing a GPS to track his whereabouts. It was a function that came along with the vehicle.
She also revealed that she once had a conversation with Ruhainies, with whom she is friends, to “test” her.
“Ruhainies lied to me, saying she was living at Four Seasons. If she was really my friend, she would have been truthful to me,” said Bella.
That aside, Bella admitted to having an affair with 27-year-old Malaysian actor Muaz Zabir late last year, but claimed that she was only trying to make Aliff jealous. Bella and Aliff reconciled after the incident.
Bella also emphasised that she was not speaking without proof, and expressed her wish for Aliff and Ruhainies to come clean about their affair.
