Singapore’s concert scene is in the limelight, thanks to recent shows by A-listers like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay. These headline-grabbing performances have established the city as a regional concert hub, and underscored the growing need for high-quality event venues that can support a wide range of live music experiences.
Located at Hall 7 of Singapore EXPO, Arena @ EXPO is a new multipurpose events space designed with versatility, flexibility and scalability in mind. It can accommodate audiences spanning a few hundred to 6,700 attendees, making it suitable for a wide array of events – from fan meet-and-greets to immersive shows. There are plans to increase the venue’s seating in the future, allowing it to host even larger concerts.
“Concert organisers today seek spaces for mid-sized concerts, which are gaining popularity. Until now, Singapore has only had a few suitable venues for concerts attracting 3,000 to 7,000 attendees,” said Mr Khoo Yew Jin, vice president of brand and customer experience at Constellar, which manages Singapore EXPO. “With Arena @ EXPO, promoters have a concert space that is tailored to meet the needs of artistes, and they can also provide attendees with more intimate and engaging experiences.”
