Simon Yam and Chinese supermodel Qiqi’s daughter Ella is literally the kind of ‘spoil market’ classmate we wouldn’t want in class.
The 21-year-old, who studied in an international school in Singapore, is now a student at the London School of Economics.
Recently, Ella, who is also a model, took to Xiaohongshu to share a video of her campus life.
Her first lesson started at 9am and it was her favourite subject Mathematics.
According to Ella, who’s currently in her second year in LSE, she enrolled herself in a module meant for year three students because she “likes to challenge herself”.
“The teacher said that this module is what she uses to teach other Math teachers, so it’s going to be quite difficult. But all the more I’m enjoying it,” she said.
Despite having back-to-back classes and meetings till 6pm, Ella found time for a quick birthday celebration with her friends that night.
If you think her day ended after that… Wrong.
At 11.30pm, Ella made her way to the library to study and only ended her mugging at 1.40am.
“Constantly improving yourself is not easy. We need to spend a large amount of time and energy, and have to be very disciplined and hard-working,” she said.
Ella’s diligence left netizens impressed, with one surprised that she still hand-writes her notes in this digital age.
Others were just enthralled by how all-rounded she is.
“You’re pretty and hardworking and clever, you’re too amazing Ella,” gushed one fan.
Last year, Ella shared that she was enrolled in the prestigious Columbia University in New York, which we assume meant she was on exchange at the Ivy League school.
Talk about beauty and brains.
