Sports Travel 360 licence revoked by STB

SINGAPORE – A travel agency, Sports Travel 360, is no longer permitted to carry out any travel agent activities after its licence was revoked, said the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) on May 21.

STB said the agency’s licence was revoked on May 21 as Sports Travel 360 had ceased its travel agent business without notifying the board, failed to update its contact details on the Travel Agents and Tourist Guides Licensing System, and did not submit its Audited Statement of Accounts and Annual Business Profile Returns.

Sports Travel 360 must refund all its existing customers or hand over its existing obligations to licensed travel agents, said STB.

It added that an updated list of licensed travel agents in Singapore can be found at trust.stb.gov.sg

The Straits Times’ checks on Sports Travel 360 turned up a Facebook page with the same name, with its last post in October 2020. On that page, Sports Travel 360 described itself as providing “global sports travel packages”.

The number listed on the Facebook page was not in use when ST tried calling.

A website with the same name was listed in search results, but could not be accessed.

A firm named Sports Travel 360 is listed as a live company on business registration portal Bizfile as at May 21. The firm was registered in June 2018, with a condominium unit in the east of Singapore listed as its current registered address.
