SINGAPORE – A 37-year-old woman was arrested after three people were injured in a knife incident at a food stall in Chinatown on March 19.
In response to queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they received calls for assistance at 1 Park Road – the address of People’s Park Complex – at around 8.50pm.
Two men, aged 41 and 30, were taken to the Singapore General Hospital conscious, while another 42-year-old man was assessed for minor injuries and declined to be taken to the hospital, they added.
According to Chinese language daily Lianhe Zaobao, the food stall where the incident occurred sells cooked food. Two of the injured men reportedly work at the stall.
The woman was arrested for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon.
A chopper was seized as a case exhibit.
Investigations are ongoing.
