Hungry Ghost Month is just around the corner (Aug 13 to Sep 11), bringing with it a host of traditional beliefs, customs and taboos.
According to Chinese folklore, the seventh lunar month is when the boundary between the human and spirit worlds is at its thinnest, allowing wandering spirits to return and receive offerings from the living.
In a recent Facebook video, Taiwanese astrology and tarot expert Master Xiao Meng shared the four zodiac signs he believes should be extra cautious during this period.
According to him, people born under these signs may be more susceptible to “negative energy” at night and more likely to experience “spiritual disturbances”, such as unwanted supernatural encounters or unexplained physical discomfort.
He also explained why these zodiac signs are believed to be more vulnerable and highlighted places they may wish to avoid during Ghost Month.
