Ella Yam, the daughter of Hong Kong actor Simon Yam and Chinese supermodel Qi Qi, isn’t called “second-gen star with the most potential” for nothing.
Not only is the 20-year-old making her mark in the modelling world, she’s got the smarts too.
According to Hong Kong media, Ella, who was enrolled in the London School of Economics, is now studying at the prestigious Columbia University in New York.
On May 29, Ella posted a snap of the Columbia University library on Instagram Stories with the caption: “First day @columbia uni!”
This led to speculation that she had transferred to the Ivy League school.
Responding to a comment that welcomed her to the city, Ella replied: “The NYC adventures begin.”
