JOHOR BAHRU, Aug 20 — The MyBorderPass application is experiencing a system access disruption at the entry and exit bus lanes as well as motorcycle lanes at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) here today.
The KSAB Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) said travellers affected by the disruption were advised to proceed to immigration counters or use the National Integrated Immigration System (MyNIISe) application for immigration clearance.
“The technical team is currently carrying out recovery works to ensure the system returns to normal operation. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to travellers,” AKPS said in a Facebook post.
MyBorderPass was launched and introduced by the Home Ministry (KDN) and the Immigration Department of Malaysia on Jan 1, 2025 as an initial digital initiative to facilitate immigration clearance using QR codes at the country’s main entry points. — Bernama
