PUTRAJAYA: Information-sharing between Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore helped foil a recent planned attack on Marina Bay last week.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the close cooperation between the three countries helped the authorities to act swiftly and thwart the plan.
Six suspected Indonesian militants had planned to launch a rocket from the island of Batam to Marina Bay. The six, including the group’s leader, were arrested last Friday in Batam.
