5 Malaysians fined for trying to sneak into Singapore

PEKAN NENAS – Despite repeated warnings and dozens of people being fined in court, locals continue to go to Singapore without showing their passports at the Bangunan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine complex.

In the latest case, Sessions court judge Salawati Djambri fined five Malaysians comprising four men and one woman, aged 33 to 48, between RM1,500 (S$503) and RM1,800 after they pleaded guilty.
